05 Jul Te Manahau Scotty and Stacey Morrison
Both Stacey (Ngāi Tahu, Te Arawa) and Scotty Morrison (Ngāti Whakaue) have dedicated years to the revitalisation of the Māori language. Though both Stacey and Scotty have been strong advocates for te reo Māori on the broadcasting platform, they are also involved in some of the largest organisations in Aotearoa and are the authors of a number of best selling Māori language books. The dedication they have shown to Te Reo Māori has been acknowledged, with both being recipients of awards from Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori.
