Previously working as a Whanau Ora kaimahi in the community of West Auckland, Gayel’s passion for rangatahi health and wellbeing gave her the motivation to venture where she felt she could make the biggest impact.
Having discovered He Pī Ka Rere aligned with her values and dedication to improving the oranga of rangatahi, she is now contracted to Toi Tangata as a facilitator for the kaupapa in the West Auckland area where she has already built relationships with the local kura.
Gayel has her Level 4 qualification in Mental Health & Addictions, Health & Wellbeing, Promotional Health and Sports & Operations. We are looking forward to having Gayel join the Toi Tangata whānau and can’t wait to see her pūkenga in action! Nau mai, whakatau mai!
