Davina Thompson (Ngāti Awa, Te Arawa) is an elite sportswoman, a Māmā, a kaimahi for Te Arawa Lakes trust and a Rongoā Māori practitioner. She has pursued Mātauranga Māori for many years, passed on to her from her Kuia and Koroua. With help from communities all over Aotearoa she managed to put together Rongoā packs for Kaumatua and Kuia throughout Te Tai Tokerau.
