Te Whai Oranga – well being pathways Kerrie has worked within the health, fitness and physical activity area for over 30 years. Primarily enabling whānau to achieve oranga outcomes. Kerrie has a background in body-building, swimming, running, multi-sport and waka ama. Her and her husband, Johnnie, both share a passion for enabling whānau well-being through connecting/engaging with Ngā Taiao, and using Māori knowledge systems ofMaramataka and Hekenga Waka. In 2019, they completed together He Waka Hiranga Masters of Applied Indigenous Knowledge through Te Wananga o Aotearoa drawn from their shared model of practice Te Whai Oranga. |
