24 Apr Welcome Layla

We have recently welcomed Layla Lyndon Tonga to the Toi Tangata whanau. Layla will be helping out with the Ol@ Or@ project that we are delivering alongside the National Health Science Challenge within the University of Auckland.  

Layla’s skills, knowledge and experience coupled with leadership capabilities make her an excellent communicator and wonderful asset to have in the team. She will spearhead recruitment and engagement with this project alongside Crystal Pekepo and the Toi Tangata team.  We are looking forward to the mahi that she undertakes and wish her all the best in her time with our Toi team.

Layla will also have a role in increasing our Māori public health presence in the sector and we are excited about developments where we can leverage her depth of expertise.
