Meet our new CEO

We are so happy to introduce Megan Tunks, the new Kaiwhakahaere Matua, CEO of Toi Tangata. Megan (Te Whānau-a-Apanui, Te Whakatōhea), brings valuable experience to this key role and will take the reins from Callie Corrigan, who has served as interim CEO since the departure of Leonie Matoe in October 2016.

Meet our Summer Student Interns!

For the fourth consecutive year, Toi Tangata put out the call for tauira Māori to apply for the Toi Tangata Summer Student Internships for 2016-2017. From an impressive pool of candidates, the successful applicants were Tukohirangi Pini (Tapuika), Waitiria Greeks (Whakatohea, Ngati Maniapoto) and Deb Heke (Ngapuhi).

Monday 19 December 2016. Toi Tangata has just released a revised edition of its popular health resource, Toi te Kupu. Toi te Kupu, the Māori health dictionary, was first published in 2014 as a collaborative effort between the NZ Heart Foundation and Toi Tangata.
